Terms for dining, the card room and poker nights

These terms govern use of Lanter Nandlot’s restaurant, dedicated card room, poker lounge and poker tables. Please read them before making a dining booking, attending the venue or taking part in offline poker participation, so an evening of food, conversation and hosted table action can begin with clear shared expectations.

They apply to guests, diners, attendees and poker participants using the physical venue. Dining, poker seats and hosted offline table action remain subject to these terms and to reasonable on-site directions for the occasion.

Shared restaurant and card-room spaces

Lanter Nandlot brings together a premium bistro, dedicated card room, poker lounge and poker tables. Guests are expected to use each shared space with consideration for other diners, players and staff. Hosted sessions involve dealers and live table action, and reasonable on-site directions may be given to support a safe, orderly and enjoyable flow through the evening.

Availability and shared spaces

Access to a particular dining area, poker table, seat or hosted session may depend on availability and operational needs. Arriving at the venue does not guarantee a particular table, session position or place in the action. Poker nights are shared occasions, and seating may need to move with the rhythm of the room.

Accurate booking and participation details

When making a dining reservation, requesting a poker seat or joining a venue activity, please provide accurate information relevant to that request. Dining reservations and poker seat participation are distinct pathways. Where a buy-in is referred to, it describes the event or seat-participation process for a hosted session, rather than an entitlement to a particular table position.

Practical note: staff may guide guests between bistro, lounge and poker-table areas to help the venue operate smoothly for everyone present.

Restaurant bookings

A restaurant booking is a request for a dining experience. Please make it with accurate party details and any relevant requirements, allowing the team to plan the evening’s service. Lanter Nandlot serves Australian dishes, steaks, burgers, share plates, desserts, cocktails and wine, and seating arrangements may be managed to support service and the wider venue flow.

If your dining arrangements change, communicate that change as early as practicable. This helps the bistro prepare for guests while retaining the relaxed, considered character of the room.

Poker seats and buy-in participation

A poker seat request or buy-in participation request relates to a physical place in an offline poker session. It does not create an entitlement to a particular table position. Poker nights, Texas Hold’em tournaments and social table action are hosted at the poker tables, with seats managed as part of the live card-room experience.

Table allocation may take account of session format, dealer management, blinds and other operational needs. Guests should follow the arrangements communicated for the hosted session and understand that the table may need to be organised for clear, orderly play.

Dining and session information may be adjusted when venue operations require it. A poker-night or tournament format, dealer arrangement, blind structure or table layout may change to support orderly hosted play. Guests should check the confirmation or on-site directions that apply to their particular dining booking or poker session.

Lanter Nandlot is an offline poker destination: sessions are hosted in person, around physical poker tables, among the cards, chips, dealers and conversation that make a social evening at the venue feel distinct.

Offline poker nights

Poker nights are hosted, in-person social sessions in the dedicated card room and poker lounge. The experience is physical and shared: participants sit at the table with cards, chips, a dealer and other players. Casual and experienced players are welcome to enjoy the table atmosphere, while recognising that the live session is organised around the available seats and the venue’s hosted flow.

Dealers, blinds and table flow

Dealers guide table action and communicate the procedures that keep a session clear, including blinds, poker hands and transitions between hands. Participants should remain attentive to dealer directions and the pace of the table. Clear handling of cards and chips, and respect for the shared table flow, helps every player follow the action and enjoy the occasion.

Texas Hold’em tournaments

Texas Hold’em tournaments and tournament nights are structured live sessions managed on site. The format and seating communicated for the particular event apply to that occasion. Guests should rely on the relevant session information and dealer guidance rather than assume that one tournament’s arrangement will apply to another. The focus remains an orderly, hosted experience at the poker tables.

High roller atmosphere

High roller describes a premium table experience within Lanter Nandlot’s refined card-room atmosphere. It does not guarantee a particular level of service, a particular table position or any particular outcome. It is a description of the considered setting: polished hospitality, hosted play and an evening shaped by good company around the table.
